Red Cell is a band that never stands still, always evolving,
always moving forward. Their debutalbum "Hybrid Society"
that was released in 2005 had a hard almost Ministry-like
industrial tone to it and reached high on the official charts
in Sweden.

When the band in 2008 released the album "Lead Or Follow"
a change towards a more danceable and cluboriented sound
was noticed. The album had several hits like "Silent Noise"
and "Lust" that was on the alternative charts around the world.

Now 2016 we write yet another chapter in the bands
history. With the new album "Endings And Beginnings"
the duo Stefan Aronsson and Jimmy Skeppstedt has
found a more mature style, but never without loosing
their foundation from the electronic era.
Red Cell 2016 rather picks insperation from The Knife
than Front 242, rather look more towards Depeche Mode
than Nitzer Ebb. Red Cell are back. Better than ever.

This album is in fact one of the biggest surprises, I have stumbled upon in years. I didn't expect such an output in this particular scene anymore, except from the well known artists that have been around since 30+ years. Great piece of work and actually hard to pick a favorite track, so I took the one which struck me immediately with its monotonous, hypnotic, hard hitting, slow basslines and beats surrounded by sequences that pull you deep into the sound.
